Elyse Margetson

Elyse is a part time member of the Socrates admin team, having recently returned to work from a career break after spending some time raising her family. During this time Elyse took on a number of voluntary roles including acting as a school governor for a local junior school and as Treasurer for Huddersfield Giants Netball Club.

 

Elyse qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 and spent almost 20 years working for KPMG, one of the Big 4 Accounting firms as a Forensic Accountant, specialising in Fraud Investigation and Fraud Prevention work.   She also had responsibility for operational, people management and human resource responsibilities for the Forensic Department across the North of England.  Most recently she has been working for Viewber, providing accompanied viewing, photography and property inspection services on behalf of estate agency clients.

 

Elyse is passionate about sport and the benefits it brings to people from both a physical and mental wellbeing perspective and in her spare time can be found playing squash and cricket or on the sidelines supporting her daughters competing in tennis and netball or watching a local football team.
