Dr Aylish Campbell

Dr Aylish Campbell qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2007. She is a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Aylish has experience working with people of all ages, including over 8 years’ experience working in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
At Socrates, she works with adults, children, adolescents and families who are experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, panic, low mood, depression, low self-esteem and emotion regulation difficulties. She also works with people who are struggling with relationships, difficult life events and experiences of trauma.
Aylish’s approach to therapy draws on a number of psychological models and theories, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), behavioural and systemic approaches. She works together with people to adapt her approach to suit their needs and preferences. She strives to create a safe, supportive space in which people can explore their difficulties in a respectful, caring, collaborative way.
Aylish also has experience of working with schools providing consultation and training.
