Assessment and Therapy

Dr Katie Moizer is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS). She provides psychological assessment and interventions for adults, children and families. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties associated with, mental health problems, relationship difficulties and neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr Moizer’s previous experience includes lead roles within CAMHS for children and young people with a learning disability, and autism spectrum conditions. She has extensive experience in providing related diagnostic assessments and interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team. Therapeutically Dr Moizer offers Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, systemic and relationship based work, as well as other models.

Legal work

Dr Moizer has experience providing reports to the Court concerning personal injury and medical negligence cases. In addition, she undertakes assessments of both adults and children related to child care and private family law proceedings.

Training and consultation

Dr Moizer offers training and consultation to parents and professionals on a range of psychological issues. Much of her work has related to attachment difficulties and special educational needs.
